What is Stedfast?
A Stedfast Association is an organisation for Past Members, (Boys and Officers), along with serving Officers, Friends and Supporters of The Boys' Brigade.
The Stedfast Association was launched at the Royal Albert Hall in London in May 1983 (The Boys' Brigade Centenary Year) and initially it existed for Old Boys and Supporters of the The Boys' Brigade to keep in touch and to provide practical support and assistance. However, since then, it has expanded into a fast growing International Organisation with many thousands of members world-wide and countless new friendships have been made and many International links have been formed.
The main aim of Stedfast is to "Further the Object of the BB and to foster the spirit of comradeship between past and present members of the Brigade and to render service to others".
Each Association is fully autonomous with its own elected Office Bearers and organises its own varied activities. Each Branch maintaining a very close contact with its local Battalion or District.
